I have a 2007 S8 with the Lamborghini-derived V10. First of all, please let me know if I'm in the wrong forum... it looked closest to ecm discussions in the list!

I'm wondering if anyone has cracked/opened the ecm in a way that allows individuals to tinker with the tuning, or is it strictly in the commercial tuner world so far?

I've reverse-engineered (disassembled the code) a couple of GM ECMs back in the PROM days, but wouldn't know where to start with the V10 ecm. Any leads would be appreciated!
