Bourdais exited the pits (crossed the white line at the end of pitlane) behind Massa. You don't actually believe that Whiting wanted drivers to yield to cars that are behind them on track, do you? Bourdais was deemed responsible for the incident because he was the overtaking car.
Massa showed poor situational awareness and turned into the car that was alongside and attempting to overtake him, and was spun out. Racing incident. Car long since sold. Sig is for historical purposes only. |
