I would hate to see him leave the cockpit (and I'd actually like to see him continue to move up the ranks) but he sat in with the usual crew for a part of the Touring Car race and he was great. He didn't say much, but EVERYTHING he said was insightful and interesting.
The regulars are good, but sometimes I feel like they are dumbing down the broadcast and intentionally avoid the real technical issues.
I became a fan when Randy jockeyed the RS6, and it's been fun to see him progress. He seems to be a real surgeon behind the wheel. Rarely puts a wheel wrong, and has extraordinary patience.
