Yes I purchased an R32. I went back and forth on the blue or the white and in the end when they were sitting side by side the Candy White was a clear winner. I have only had it one day, but it is a blast to drive. The DSG works amazing when in manual mode, but seems a little laggy when in auto mode starting from a stop. Maybe it is a software thing, I will see how it does over the next 1000 miles. I have owned a string of BMW's and in fact race a BMW in ICSCC Pro3, but with the entry price of a 1 series at $41K (for a good one) I decided to look around and the GTI caught my eye. After going to the dealer and comparing the GTI and the R32 I decided to go for the big dog. Honestly it does not feel much faster than the GTI, but with all the extras like AWD and the exterior and interior styling I had to have it. I will check in from time to time.
