put in coilovers in yesterday. having never done a suspension install on a mark iv before, this was a bit tricky for me. first off all, make sure you have an impact wrench. i have no idea how the upper strut bolt would come out, or go back in without one. other than that the fronts are straight forward. the rears weren't tough either except for getting the springs out of the car. have a heavy friend handy for that.

i didnt have much of a chance to try them out last night. i need to do a few height adjustments on them (front left is lower than front right), but everything felt so much better. much tighter. steering and braking were definitely more on point. i'll give a better review once i get everything adjusted and get a proper alignment. but so far it was an $800 well spent
