Sure, you can use any lens for a landscape shot, but I wouldn't reach for a 400/5.6 to capture lake sunsets unless that lake was 5 miles away.

The Sony 11-18 UWA, IMHO, would be most appropriate, but the 16-105 and 16-80 Zeiss might be better travel-type lenses (just looking at the specs).
