Hi, Can anyone tell me please how to remove the gear lever knob on my manual geabox Passat? The fabric gaiter around the lever itself has worn badly and I want to replace it, but I don't know how how the knob itself is removed? My car is a 2004 TDi model, but I don't think they are any different on the petrol versions.
