no mods, family car, and despise working with VW techs. All maint done by me, so hoping no major problems down the road that they say isn't covered --not very good at keeping reciepts :(

With the exception of the coilpacks way back when, I am quite happy with the wagon. In terms of mileage though, actually got MUCH better mileage on my 00 sedan - to the tune of 35 or so on the interstate, but in the city is another story -- unfortunately my wife and I are pretty hard on it in town.

Only major thing I've done was make the move to Prestone's coolant from the G12, mainly b-c it was running low and someone topped it off with non-G12, and rather than have it happen again I just flushed and filled it with Prestone's mix-with-everything stuff.
