i have an 01 new beetle, 1.8t. I clearly have the rear spoiler on the back of my car and i have the indicator light on my dash. in my owners manual it says i should have a switch also to turn it on manually rather than waiting to hit 78mph to activate it. i dont have that switch though, which is suposedly located under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. the only time my indicator light has come on is when i hit over 100mph on the highway one time. other than that, i havve never seen it on. sooo, i dont know if its broken or what. are the 2001 models just not equipped with the rear spoiler switch or what? help. thanks :)
