All,

We just bought my wife a 2005.5 Jetta (no TDIs could be found, just a 2.5.) It came with Package #1, which means a six-disc in-dash changer that plays CDs with MP3s on them. Two Qs.....

1) There is no IceLink for the new head units. Any ideas on an ETA for that style of connection? Also, unlike other VAG radios I see no slots for radio "keys" (aka the nail file.) How do I get the radio out? apple.com reports that there is a "seamless connection for VW coming soon."

2) We've milled a few CDs as MP3 CDs and as data CDs with gobs of MP3 files on them. The display on the in-dash radio says "Title 003" or some derivative and it doesn't read the ID3 tag of the MP3 or filename (which has artist and song info) from the CD. What are we doing wrong?
