Weird question here... I have a 2000 Jetta GLS VR6 manual. Anyway, we all know about the horrific cupholders in this beast, just above the radio.

Now, a friend of mine has an '04 Jetta and it has a cupholder in the center console, right next to the emergency brake. I was wondering if anyone knew if the two parts were interchangeable between the two models? I would love to pick up this '04 center console and put it in my car.

Any thoughts? Thanks!
