You might have a problem with your ecu. I'm not sure what caused your problem. But I had a water leak, which threw the TP codes and the EPC light on my car. I went crazy looking for the TP sensor (which is actually located on the gas pedal and throttle body bolted to your intake manifold which inturn communicate through your ecu)pull the plentum cover off below your front windshield and take out the ecu. There will be some screws on the ecu, take them carefully off and see if there are any burn spots ont the ECU board. If so its screwed, do this first and you might save some time and money. TRUST ME!!! If it is your ECU go to vwvortex.com and search in the market link for private sellers selling a matching ecu number. I always see a bunch for sale there. You'll save a lot of money, I did!
