I have a 2000 Jetta that is locked in "limp home" mode. This occurred after the transmission was supposedly rebuilt by an inane Aamco Transmission shop near my home. Long story short I think the computer got wet when my weepholes clogged in the well under the wipers (what a STUPID place for computers!!!!)and caused this error. I tried a used ECU to no avail. Anybody have a solution?? Thanks in advance. Also how do I get a computer reset to my car? Is this even possible?
