on my way home yesterday, and a grey Mazda MAZDASPEED Protege pulls on in front of me. He has obvious suspension, wheel, and exhaust mods. Car looks clean overall. I also noticed a gauge on the a-pillar. Stock, they had a Garrett T-25 turbo, making 170hp on 2.0L.

I pulled up along side him and gave a little whoosh of boost to let him know what's up (since my car is mostly stock looking :) He pulls along side and then we get a nice even roll-on in 4th. I pulled many car lengths on him through the end of 4th before we slowed. As we passed each other later we both exchanged a pleasant thumbs-up. He certainly had more than 170hp, but no idea what mods he had.

Ok, now I need to find a chipped S4 ;-)
