We had 2-3" of snow over the weekend. I brushed it off the cars but there was still a layer of ice on the windshields. I left it there until Mon morning when I was leaving for work. I scraped off all the windows, turned on the defrost and went back inside for a min or two. I didn't touch the wipers at all. After the defroster got the crusty snow melting, the wipers cleaned it perfectly across the full sweep of the blade.

It was certainly nice to not have to bend the wipers backwards, trying to flex out any ice/snow caught in the moving pieces of the standard style wiper blade pressure finger thingys.

Also, while driving my 70mile drive to work, I was very happy with how easy I could wash and clear the windshield after not using the wipers for a while and getting salty/dirty buildup kicked up by other cars. One rather quick squirt and the standard few swipes cleaned the windshield perfectly. I do owe some of that credit to the VW sprayer nozzel compared to the Audi - the VW one has a wider mist, where as the Audi has more of a squirt gun.

I look foward to more snow, and driving while it is falling to see how that does as well. so far, I'm quite happy.
