Thanks for the inspiration pic!

I'm not sure where I'll begin with the GTI. I'm trying to think about aspects of the car that don't thrill me to death. Two that I can think of right now are the shifter, and the oem double-din radio.

I had a stratmoshere short shifter on my A4 which I loved. It kept the stock shifter height, but was nice and crisp. I just don't like the feel of the stock GTI shifter.

The head-unit just sounds terrible. I'm really not "into" car audio... that is to say, I'm not one to for subs, amps, capacitors, and all that stuff. Really, I just want a crisp full sound, and the oem unit is not even close.

So, the fun begins. :)
