Let me just start out by saying hello to everyone. I have been wanting an Mk3 for some time now and being that I have gottin myself together with a new job and a good reliable daily driver I will be starting a new project car.

Acually im not new to MK3's I have had a 94 jetta GLS that was my first run around car, but it was my stepmoms. so I know what problems to look for and what I will be getting. I really like my C4 platform 96 Audi A6 Avant. I was contemplateing on seling it for another one or a MK4 but haven't seen another one in pearl white with black leather by me at all and I like it to much to sell it.

So I was looking at a cheap one to build up, a 94 or 95 golf. It can be a two or four door and can need minor work but must run and drive.It can need paint but must have no rust and be a 5 speed. Im looking in to the $500-$700 range. I don't think thats a bad asking price for what I want and have seen lots of them for around that prior to me getting my Audi, but of course now I want one so I cant sem to find any for sale. Im in NY so I would travle around to port jervis, middle town, kingston and areas not to far from that to look at one.

Well thats my story and if anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know.
