hi, I'm new here but came over from AudiWorld, never noticed this forum before since I'm just bookmarked to my regular 4000/CGT forum.

Anyway I also have a 95 Golf and I'm having a problem with the factory alarm not disarming, making it impossible to start the car.

Is there a way to disconnect/bypass the alarm so I can use the car? I tried unplugging the control module under the dash but that did nothing.

I had a problem a while back with the driver's side door and just unplugged the micro-switch and that worked for a while,now it's back to arming itself and not disarming when I use the passenger's door.
Will disconnecting the rest of the micro-switches help or make it worse.
