audeyssey does negative eq which results in lower sound levels, so you loose max volume if turned up all the way(not that you would want to).

the audyessey systems purpose is good, like I always have said a good pro can tweak a system far superior to audyssey, or audyessey pro.

Obviously for people without the knowledge of how to manipulate a sound field correctly will have a duanting task ahead of them. more then likely they would rather use a mic and say YES thats the best way to do it. HAHA
