The Panasonic TCLX85 is an AWESOME 32". There are a lot of good 32" LCD's out there. The names you hear are Sony and Samsung. The Sony KDL32M4000 and the Samsung LN32A450 are also nice 32" sets. I think if you compare picture and price, however, you will find that the Panasonic has a stellar picture and a great price. The Samsung LN32A330 will not be as nice with the SD stuff. And if you take a coax from the wall into the TV and you have HD service anywhere in the house (or your neighbors do), the QAM tuner in the TV will pick up HD channels in the bedroom for you as well.
