    it's a question of which video scaler is better to use, given a native source of 480 i/p:

    or the AVR's
    or an external scaler's
    or the display's.

    I would very much like my Moto box to output everything in its native source size and let my better video scalers in either the Denon AVR or the TV handle the job of scaling to the TV's native resolution.

    I doubt I'm the only one. I *think* that's what he wants to do, but I agree that it was poorly worded. Besides, it's difficult to go f oneself and answer av questions at the same time.
