    Do yourself a favor and buy a good wire snake. Also, if you're not very comfortable with how A/C works (and how to wire it) hire an electrician. Unlike D/C, a bad A/C wiring job won't cause a fire right away...it could be hours or even days later before you realize you have a problem. If you do it go at it yourself, make sure to use the right junction box and do everything to code.

    A certified electrician will do this for you for small fee- much smaller than fire damage repairs will cost.
