For $200, it's a nice basic player.

They've added quite a bit, including Dolby TrueHD decoding, through firmware upgrades. They've also really cut down on the load times through firmware, from what I've read.

Major drawbacks are currently no DTS-HD decoding, no PIP (Bonus-view, Profile 1.1) features, and obviously no BD-Live (Profile 2.0) features.

Still, for just popping in a high-def movie and watching it, this seems like a good buy at $200.
