anyhow, heard the small Maggie wall-mounts for the first time. pretty impressive, I would not have believed it...having only previously heard Maggies in traditional free-space placement. they were being driven by ASL Wave-25 monoblocks (pic). hmm...only $1500 for the amp-speaker combo. I might have to go back there for a longer audition; mebbe bring my preamp. I've always wanted traditional Maggies but never had the space...funny, this option might actually *save* me space.
