Look, women want stability - to them it means health insurance and steady paycheck. But if that means you are going to be just another gray body in a suit, is it really worth it?
BeeRock - I have one of those mind-numbing gray jobs for money, but I also teach a criticism course at a major university in New York City, and write an occasional article for one of the major European newspapers. Yes, my wife bitches about me being very busy, but she knows that if she dares ask me to give up these two small jobs that fulfill me spiritually and intellectually, I'd divorce her in a flash. You are facing an age-old and classical choice - stability and boredom vs. instability and freedom. Find a compromise - it does not have to be one or the other.

Those who have greatness within them do not go in for politics"
