If you like what you're doing [including the 'running the business' part] and able to generate a level of income you need/find acceptable, don't walk away from your business for a woman...especially so if you think your business/income will grow over time.
If you don't enjoy running a business and/or think you'd be better off, financially [in the longer term] if you went to work for someone else, then walking away could be worth serious consideration. I've been 'unemployed' since January 2005, and while it's not always been a stroll through the park, it's been worth it thus far. How long have you been on your own? Has business improved during that time? $$$ and the opinions of others aside, do you enjoy self employment? Do you think you'll be doing better a year from now if you stick with it? If you were to go to work for someone else, do you think you'd make more money next year?...five years from now? |
