Had a few 2 channel rig before this but mainly SS and digital sources. Just like tubes and vinyl, never cared for them before because the sound just didnt do it for me. Sold my Arcam/Dali combo a year ago and just now getting back to the hobby. Once again, my choice was SS but for some odd reason, they dont sound the same anymore to my ears. I demoed every SS that my dealer carried from $699 to $9999 but its not engaging me enough. Until he asked me to listen to tubes (Manley Stingray which i now owned) and it was over. I love the sound and the spark that I felt with SS before came back.

Its happening again with CD's......I still like it but the spark is diminishing...
