    it DEFINITELY deserved a mention as one of the designs worth noting in Audi's design timeline. It truly impacted the world of car design....in a real world setting, unlike some of the others in that list.

    If you go to the bookstore, and search for automotive design books....you will ALWAYS see a full multiple page spread on the design and implementation of the TT.

    these days, nearly every small roadster or coupe takes cues from the original TT....

    it also showed the world that Audi was capable of making cars that didn't just have a boxy shape....
