Bought a 2008 Q7 two months ago. Parked under a tree. Small red berries stained the paint, apparently requiring repainting (according to detailer and insurance adjuster)! I am concerned that repainting may result in a lesser quality finish that may be less protective.

We have many question:
Can berry stains really require repainting?
If so, is it best to have repainting done by Audi dealer?
What should I expect/require in terms of quality of work/materials?
Any possibility of a warranty claim here?
