    That's not true, besides a difference in frame rate there is also a difference in resolution

    as a result most regular DVD players will not play PAL DVDs, even if the disc is region free. Only specific multi-system players can play both NTSC and PAL DVDs. On another hand, any computer will be able to decode both types of discs.
