For your Volkswagen and Audi Performance needs, the folks from V A S T Performance have been doing everything from routine maintenance to full turbo upgrades. Mike and his father started working on VW's in the mid 1980's and have continued beyond just repair and maintenance.

Through the 90's and into 2000, they started expanding beyond repair and doing many performance upgrades. They primarily, proudly serve the Southeast Michigan/Detroit area, but have travelled all across the country to help people with their vehicles, support track events and tuning for dyno days from California to New Jersey.

The Audi S4 is where they really started to build a reputation creating some of the fastest cars in the country: setting records at the dragstrip and dynos for every level of tuning, whether it be on stock fuel injection or fully modified. The Audi 2.7T motor as well as the VW/AUDI 1.8T and 2.0T motor are continually developed in all applications. This has been V A S T's main focus, but they do not turn away normally aspirated VW's or Audis for development. In 2007, V A S T firmly established itself in a 5000 square foot facility, after a year of renovation.

People who made V A S T

Mike:
Mike has his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a main focus of circuit design and layout. He deals with all fabrication, research and development, engine builds, cylinder head rebuilds, transmission rebuilds, welding, custom fab work, etc. He founded V A ST and leads innovation and brings you well running cars and new products.

James:
Mike's father has his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and has been a practicing Engineer in the Aerospace industry for over 30 years. Together, they've always complemented each as they do everything possible to turn out a well performing vehicle.

Kurt:
Kurt has come from the Ford Motorsports scene. He was heavily involved in mainly Mustangs and has worked on NA, supercharged, and nitrous engine/cylinder head builds for the past 10 years through his experience at Ford SVT and Roush Racing. He works with custom tuning projects, software development and sourcing of products and other resources for the shop. He led the way for all of our C5 Audi A6, A8, Allroad product development, especially with the 4.2V8.
