    it's not just the belt, I've replaced mine with nothing cracked

    because your tensioners don't break they become loose. If you look in your repair manual there is a certain distance that your tensioner is not allowed to move past (it's between 6-10mm) mine was at 20, sure it all looked fine. Belts almost never break on these cars. I say replace all the parts...including the water pump, and crank seals. You might as well do it while you're there.
